    October 30, 2025: Yiddish choirs gathered in Ashkelon

    On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the annual Yiddish Choir Festival took place at the Ashkelon Congress Center at 6:00 PM.

    As every year, vocalist groups from all parts of Israel, including children's choirs, took part in the gathering and all sang in Yiddish.

     The event is being produced by Michael Leinwand and sponsored by the National Authority for Yiddish Culture. Admission free.
