Tel Aviv Municipality offers awards for Yiddish literature works

The Tel Aviv-Jaffo Municipality is calling for nominations for the Mendele Moykher-Sforim Awards for literary or research works in Yiddish or translations into Yiddish and/or from Yiddish for the year 2026.

The awards are intended for artists, creators, writers, researchers, and translators who have led, stood out, and influenced in their branch. The value of each prize is 18,000 shekels.

Deadline for nominations: Tuesday, 7th Adar 5786 - February 24, 2026.
