July 13, 2026: Jerusalem tour about female Jewish speakers

We invite you to join a walking tour of Jerusalem titled “Ven Tzipe treft Gitl” (When Tzippe Meets Gitl)—a journey through the kitchens, stores, and workshops of the women of the Old Yishuv in the Old City.

During the tour, we’ll meet spirited entrepreneurs, righteous women, respected midwives, and modest widows—all spiced with a dash of Yiddish and the flavor of old Jerusalem.

The event, supported by the National Authority for Yiddish Culture, will take place on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Tamar Hayardeni is the guide.

    To register, click here.

For more information, visit the Old Yishuv Courtyard Museum at Or HaChayim St. 6, Jewish Quarter, Jerusalem. Phone: 02-6276319, 052-4002478.
