We are pleased to invite you to the launch ceremony of the fourth issue of the “Iberzets” magazine, which features translations from Yiddish into Hebrew and English.  

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Shalom Tower municipal library located at Achad Ha’am Street 9, Tel Aviv (western entrance, first floor).

“Iberzets” is an online magazine publishing translations of prose, poetry, and essays from Yiddish into Hebrew and English, aiming to make Yiddish culture accessible to the broad public.

The fourth issue, “In the Women’s World: Women Writing Yiddish,” brings together translations of works by female prose writers and poets who created in Yiddish, while exploring the place and role of women within Yiddish literature.
