June 15: Yiddish Choir Festival in Ashkelon

On Thursday, June 15, 2017, the 21th annual Yiddish Choir Festival took place at the Ashkelon Congress Center. Some 20 groups of singers from all parts of Israel, including children's choirs and ensembles, participated. The event was produced by Michael Leinwand and sponsored by the National Authority for Yiddish Culture.
