June 16: Yiddish Choir Festival in Ashkelon

On June 16, 2016, the 20th annual Yiddish choir festival took place at the Ashkelon Congress Center. More than 20 groups of singers from all parts of Israel, including children's choirs and ensembles, participated. The event was produced by Michael Leinwand and sponsored by the National Authority for Yiddish Culture.
