Yiddish Authority's wreath on Holocaust Day at Yad Vashem

Dr. Nurit Orchan represented the National Authority for Yiddish Culture at the wreath-laying ceremony which took place on Holocaust and Heroism Day, April 24, 2025, at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem.

Dr. Orchan is a Yiddish writer and scholar. Her books deal with women's participation in the Yiddish press in Tsarist Russia and modern women's fiction in Yiddish.
