January 30, 2025: lecture on writer-philosopher Hillel Zeitlin

A zoom lecture "Hillel Zeitlin: prophecy in Hebrew, populism in Yiddish" will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM.

Hillel Zeitlin was a famous writer and philosopher, the father of the poet Aharon Zeitlin. 

The lecturer is Shai Ilan, a history teacher, a master's student at the University of Haifa in the field of Polish cultural studies.

The event is organized by the "Hemshekh dor - libhobers fun Yidish" ("The next generation of Yiddish lovers") with the support of the the National Authority for Yiddish Culture.
