Authority's Lifetime Awards ceremony: November 19, 2024
The National Authority for Yiddish Culture yearly awards prizes to prominent figures in the fields of arts and literature who contribute significantly to Yiddish language and culture in Israel.
This year, such ceremony will take place at the Einav Cultural Center, located at Ibn Gvirol St. 71, Tel Aviv, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
A lifetime achievement award in the field of art comes to the actor, comedian, songwriter and singer Moti Giladi.
A lifetime achievement award in the field of literature comes to the writer, poet and playwright Michael Felzenbaum.
The certificate of appreciation in the field of teaching is awarded to Dr. Shoshana Dominski, who compiled the Yiddish-Hebrew online dictionary.
