On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., as a part of our intimate corner at Zum (Opge'zoom'dert Vinkele), Dr. Ya'el Levy, a researcher of modern Yiddish culture, will present her new book "From the Basement to the Upper Floor." On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., as a part of our intimate corner at Zum (Opge'zoom'dert Vinkele),Udi Meller - a Yad Vashem staff researcher dealing with Holocaust documentation, who was awarded a research scholarship from the Authority, will deliver a lecture "Fun yene dray iz keyner nisht geblibn" ("Of those three, no one survived"). These are the words with which the writer Ka-Tsetnik (Yehiel De-Nur) finished his essay revealed some facts of his life and creation as Yehiel Feiner between the two world wars.

On August 21, 2024, Benny Mer (writer, journalist, translator) and Michal Arieli (editor, artist) presented their new calendar for the 5785 Jewish year (2024/25) in which you can find an illustrated consolation song for each month, including a lyrical prayer to the star, anticipation of autumn, and even addressing a mosquito. The twelve songs appear in the Yiddish original and in a Hebrew translation. The calendar costs 60 shekels. On  July 16, 2024, Dr. Diego Rotman - senior lecturer, researcher of folklore, culture and Yiddish theater, - presented an interesting creativity aspect of the well-known comic duo: "The Israeli political satire with Szymon Dżigan and Israel Schumacher".
