On Thursday, July 4, 2024, the annual Yiddish Choir Festival took place at the Ashkelon Congress Center.

Vocalist groups from all parts of Israel, including children's choirs, participated in the festival, and all sang in Yiddish.

 The event was produced by Michael Leinwand and sponsored by the National Authority for Yiddish Culture. Admission was free.
