Anniversary of the murder of Yiddish writers and other members of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee in the Soviet Union
On August 10, 2022, our literary and musical program marked the 70th anniversary of the murder of Yiddish writers and other members of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee in the Soviet Union.
"Me ken nit mit pulver dershisn keyn lider" ("Poems cannot be murdered with gunpowder"), as a Yiddish poet Shike Driz put it.
Keynote lecturer: Dr. Mordechai Yushkovsky.
In the artistic program: singer Marina Yakubovich, and singer Ruth Levin accompanied by the guitar of Alexey Belousov.
