The Authority's Lifetime Achievement Awards for 2023

The National Authority for Yiddish Culture yearly awards prizes to prominent figures in the fields of arts and literature who contribute significantly to Yiddish language and culture in Israel. Last year, such ceremony took place at the Einav Cultural Center, located at Ibn Gvirol St. 71, Tel Aviv, on Sunday, December 4, 2023.

The actor and comedian Gadi Yagil receives a lifetime achievement award

The linguist and researcher Prof. Wolf Moskowitch receives a lifetime achievement award

 Music pieces performed by the klezmer duo of virtuosos

The Chairman of the EMI (Association of Israeli Artists) Ms Yona Elian greeted the laureats
